The owner of the previous Waffenrad joined up meanwhile. He received 5 "love letters" - papers left on his bike promoting this webpage / forum -, till we tracked him down at a concert of his. Originally he is a historian & keen on helping our cause! Attaboy!
Another beauty! Owner Botond is also the owner of Hintaló Iszoda, a trendy off tourist zone bar in VIII. district, Budapest. He joined us with a big smile on his face

What a story! Recently we bumped into Mr. Tunyogi in the outer VII. district of Budapest.
He was just locking his bike heading to the nearest pub. A real local patriot living nearby. When we asked him about why Waffenrad he had a simple answer: "I had a Csepel Csoda before, but that got stolen. This what I have now is the closest thing to that I had. I prefer these old beasts..." Right he was as he walked away confirming to join us for outings, tea, coffee or anything else
Waffenrad with interesting stickers and a crazy basket installed in the back (spotted at night on Klauzál tér, inner VII. district, Jewish Quarter) - according to certain curves and the logo on the front (sticker, not metal) it's a 1980s model:
Nice - perhaps early 1980s - female Waffenrad bicycle spotted next to the Nemzeti Múzeum / National Museum in Budapest's V. district on Bródy Sándor utca, just yesterday! Missed owner lady by an inch... note that she isn't locking the bike to the fence or anywhere else!

Nice bike. Later model - likely early 1980's.
nice bike - in amazingly good condition. Three speed F&S rear hub most probably mid 1970's.

Late 1970s Steyr-Puch parked in front of Robert Capa Center, Budapest VI. district!
Early 1970s... Interesting take on a classic Steyr-Puch Waffenrad being modified; it must have
received a big black paintjob in the past:

Meeting this bicycle @ Oktogon!
It looks like the one from June 29, but the tires are different! (the other had white ones)
Presumably a resurfacing piece of hardware. This time spotted in front of Kisüzem on Klauzál tér - Kis Diófa utca - Dob utca junction point!

Previously - a few weeks ago - found on Csepel island at a workshop:
This bicycle was broken in two(?) along the frame. Pictures show bridging the sensitive area above the crank.
Scroll down for details.

Yes frame broke in two! Metal fatigue I guess...
Found a lady having the same problem with her Waffen!
She heard about Dávid, and is looking for a solution!
There's a chance she will attend our meeting on the 7h!
