SUMMER RAD™ 2020 - Showroom pop-up festival in Budapest: line-up 26-27th September 2020

This year as published prior on the event progress thread we will not debark on an adventure leaving Budapest for the countryside. According to national regulations and following common sense: we will be connecting 4 venues in downtown Budapest, where attendees of the 1 day (12 hour) pop-up festival will be able to enjoy 2 concerts, two exhibitions, a gastronomy journey at a tasting table and several round table discussion in regards to urban cycling and Budapest cycling stories!

Duration: noon till midnight (12 AM - 12 PM) + after party till later...

  • Café Zsivágó: round table discussions, concert (band will be announced soon!)

  • Pizzica: contemporary art exhibition and street exhibit of veteran Waffenrads in everyday use by Waffenradforums club members!

  • Lokum: Steyr-Puch Waffenrad expo & history exhibition / Traditional Turkish gourmet brunch with 60 types of delicacies

  • concert in the afternoon ((band will be announced soon!)

  • Grease Monkey (afterparty): drinks, food, fun till late at night...

Timetable:

16:00-18:00 / Turkish Brunch @ Lokum

Exhibitions, gastronomy, childfriendly event

19:00 / Exhibition opening at Pizzica: contemporary art upstairs, quality fine slice dining offers downstairs + Italian or Hungarian craft beer

20:00 / Bicycle history raffle - collect the right answers at multiple venues from (written) exhibition material and win one of two female bike frames!

20:30 - 22:00 / concert @ Lokum

22:00 - 01:00 / after party @ Grease Monkey (rum, cocktails, food)

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event program.
